Zoe Simpson writes speculative fiction, ranging from whimsical to creepy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in creative writing from North Carolina State University. Her poetry and short fiction has appeared in campus magazines, The Echo Review, and The Andaluscia Review. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas but moved to Asheville, North Carolina as a teenager, where she became inspired by the dark side of nature, buried stories, and the meaning of home. She now lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband and her elderly cat Noodles. When she’s not staring at the wall trying to figure out what to write, she loves to read, people watch, explore dusty antique stores, and fry her hair off with bleach.
